Kate is the owner of Antisocial Studio, a photography studio focusing on street photography in Los Angeles . Previously, she was the Brand Director at verynice, a global design-strategy consultancy that gives half of its work away for free. As Brand Director, Kate rebranded verynice.co, as well as all collateral including social media assets, photography and everything in between. Kate originally joined verynice as a design volunteer in 2009, and became verynice’s first employee in 2013. After graduating from UCLA’s Design Media Arts program, Kate spent her first year out of college as an independent freelancer. This experience allowed her to work for a wide range of clients including non-profit organizations, academic institutions, and small design firms. Prior to joining verynice full-time, Kate was the Senior Design and Production Manager for GOOD Magazine. At GOOD, Kate built a diverse body of work that included web design, data visualization, branding, and illustration for clients including Starbucks, Toyota, Gap, and Marriott. A Los Angeles native, Kate currently lives in the Arts District of Downtown with her husband, two black cats and a puppy named Charlie.
